Happy Halloween!

For those who know me well, you know I basically live for Halloween. However, for a variety of reasons, my heart just hasn’t been quite as into it as usual.  I’ve been over-the-top busy in every aspect of my life and our costumes have definitely been on the back burner. Believe it or not, my children love dressing up as a family theme, probably because it is something we’ve always done. (Side note, my boys do have different costumes they are wearing to go out with their friends tonight!) Literally last week we decided to go with a Peter Pan theme and crammed like crazy to make it happen.

I truly was questioning my sanity as I sewed late into the night on more than one occasion, but the look on my sweet Cole’s Peter’s face as he saw this picture of him “flying” was worth all the effort. Despite my wishing with all my might that this crew of mine truly never grows up, I’m not sure how many more years I’ll get to do this and I’m glad we somehow pulled this off.  I’ll link what I can below for anyone interested in their costumes, but most of this is homemade as showcased by poor Tink’s fragile dress…despite a whole lot of “wardrobe” malfunctions, our little Tinkerbell sure looked cute!PS I totally respect those of you who simplify this holiday!  However, if you are wanting a little Disney Halloween inspiration or just to look at some pretty darn cute kids, scroll on through our own version of Neverland… Happy Halloween from Peter Pan and Company!
